For lay-up, mothballing, rigging and preservation:

Nox-Rust 1100
- A VCI lubricating liquid that works in sealed systems such as fuel talks, hydraulic and coolant circulating systems. Nox-Rust 1100 is ready to use in systems where a combination of metals are present, including steel, iron, zinc, brass and aluminum. Use for winter lay-up of farm and road building equipment and for summer storage of school buses, snowplows, etc. Available ready to use straight out of the pail or drum, or as a concentrate (Nox-Rust 1101).

Nox-Rust 1200 - Nox-Rust 1200 is a silica-free water solution designed to protect interior metal surfaces of boilers, tanks, turbines, steam and condensate pipelines. It provides continuous corrosion protection for ferrous metals, and is compatible with copper and galvanized steel. Use Nox-Rust 1200 to preserve or lay-up boilers, either wet or dry. The clear, odorless liquid typically does not need to be removed prior to equipment restart. .

Indoor/outdoor applications:

Nox-Rust 3100
Nox-Rust 3100 can be used outdoors on ferrous and non-ferrous metals in either protected or unprotected storage. It is a heavy, amber oil to apply by dip, spray or brush. It dries to a firm, waxy film that can be handled after 3-6 hours and sets up in 12-24 hours. Corrosion protection is effective for 1-3 years.

Nox-Rust 5100
Ideal for general metal preservation, indoor or outdoor. Use it with or without other barrier covers in domestic and export shipment and storage. Apply Nox-Rust 5100 by dip, spray or brush. It dries to a black, dry, firm film that can be handled after 3-6 hours and sets up in 12-24 hours. Lasts 1-3 years in outdoor, unprotected storage; 3-5 years in protected outdoor storage.

Nox-Rust 5200
Nox-Rust 5200 protects machinery, instruments, bearings and equipment that are stored outdoors. It dries as a grease-like, semi-firm film that can be handled after 3-6 hours and sets up in 12-24 hours.

Nox-Rust 5300
Nox-Rust 5300 protects the internal surfaces of equipment and machinery when stored outdoors in protected conditions. Apply by dip, spray or brush. It dries as an oily film that can be handled after 3-6 hours. Corrosion protection on interior surfaces will last 6-12 months.

Indoor Storage

Nox-Rust 9900
Nox-Rust 9900 is an environmentally friendly, water-based barrier coating for steel equipment, assemblies and parts. It’s also compatible with zinc, brass, cadmium, aluminum, and non-ferrous metals. Apply the amber-colored liquid by dip, spray or brush. It dries to a firm, tacky film that is not water-soluble.

Exterior barrier coatings

Nox-Rust 8500 (clear)
Nox-Rust 8500AL (aluminum color)
Water-based Nox-Rust 8500 and aluminum-colored 8500AL protect a variety of metal surfaces including aluminum and chrome. It’s a non-removable coating ideal for use in harsh (acidic) environments. Apply by dip, spray or brush. It dries as an aesthetically pleasing, thin, clear film, tack-free so it will not pick up dust and dirt. Removal is not required, but it can be removed with soap and water for up to an hour after applied.

Metalworking additives

Nox-Rust 5400
Nox-Rust 5400 is a stamping and processing lubricant that provides corrosion protection but won’t interfere with assembly sealers, adhesives, painting, welding, and cleaning solutions. Leading automotive manufacturers have approved it as a preservative and lubricant on sheet and coiled steel. Apply by spray, dip, or brush. No mixing or preparation is required. It dries as an oily film, sets up in 2-6 hours.

Nox-Rust 7100
Nox-Rust 7100 additive is applicable in most plant operations. It will not clog dies of stamping machines, and won’t emulsify in presence of alkali. It is non-staining and almost non-apparent, except for the sparkling luster it provides to treated parts. Apply by cold dip, spray or brush. Removal is not necessary in most cases. Corrosion protection lasts 3-6 months.

Nox-Rust 7800
This is an excellent lubricating oil for assembly parts, compatible with barium lube grease, and well-suited for precision instruments, firearms, springs, machine tools, and gear shafts. Corrosion protection is effective 6 to 12 months. Apply as a light, oily film by dip, spray or brush. No mixing or preparation is required. Removal is not necessary.

Nox-Rust 9300
Nox-Rust 9300 is an all-purpose corrosion inhibitor additive for final stage rinse. It can be diluted with water or petroleum solvent. The light, transparent liquid can also be applied by dip, spray or brush. It dries as a thin, oily emulsion. Protection lasts 3-9 months.

Nox-Rust 9700
Nox-Rust 9700 is a synthetic, water-based fluid designed as a final and in-process RP additive. Add to cutting fluids, metal working fluids, or final stage rinse. It is water-displacing, and compatible with zinc and copper.

Protection for Steel Coils

Nox-Rust 4101
Nox-Rust 4101 protects steel in areas where the acid fumes are present, commonly found in pickling operations. It is a non-staining, water-displacing, light oil that is easy to apply by dip, spray, flow coat or brush. The soft, waxy film protects steel and zinc, and is also compatible with non-ferrous metals.

Turbines, Heating/Cooling Systems, Piping, Operating Systems

Nox-Rust 9800
A ready-to-use, water-soluble VCI liquid to spray or fog into enclosed spaces such as turbines, pipes, and tanks. It dries as a thin, soft film that is barely discernable. Nox-Rust 9800 provides continuous protection against corrosion and oxidation of steel, silicon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, zinc, brass and aluminum. No surface preparation is required. Protects for 1 year in outdoor, protected storage and transport.
